Under the Bus Safety Act 2009 (Vic), bus safety inspections are a legal requirement for accredited and registered operators. Each bus that is used in the provision of the operator's bus service must be inspected annually by a licensed bus tester.

Annual Bus Inspections

We provide Annual Bus Inspections required by TSV (Transport Safety Victoria) on all types and sizes of buses for customers all over Victoria at our Delacombe workshop.

Our team includes both light and heavy vehicle inspectors, ensuring we can safely inspect all buses. We are the only workshop in Ballarat with a Fixed Brake roller tester, giving us the best brake testing possible to ensure safety.

Bus Roadworthy Inspections

Ballarat Roadworthy Centre can provide roadworthy inspections on all buses. Our workshop is set up for the purpose of bus roadworthys big and small, our technicians have a vast amount of bus industry experience and are up to date with current changes and requirements.

Bus Servicing

Ballarat Roadworthy Centre provides affordable bus servicing on all small to medium vehicles to ensure they are safe and maintained at the highest standards.

We specialise in small to medium bus servicing and repairs including:

Bus Maintenance Management (MMS)

Ballarat Roadworthy Centre can develop Maintenance Management Systems for bus operators. Working closely with the bus owners and operators, we can maintain buses in a safe and timely manner.

TSV Inspection

Ballarat Roadworthy Centre is an accredited bus inspection centre for Ballarat for both Light & Heavy buses. We offer not only Annual Bus inspections, we also supply but Daily check & defect books, mandatory bus labels & exit hammers.

We can also develop bus maintenance programs to assist in accreditation.

Brake Roller Testing

At Ballarat Roadworthy Centre we have the only fixed brake roller tester in Ballarat. Our MAHA brake roller tester is one of the most advanced brake testing units available on the market. It will effectively measure each wheel's braking performance allowing us to pinpoint any issues with the braking system.
